Three days of the best action sports competitions in the world featuring snowboarding, skiing, music, and festival experiences. X Games Aspen kicks off on Thursday, January 23rd and goes through Saturday, January 25th at Buttermilk Mountain in the heart of Aspen, Colorado.

Yes, X Games Aspen 2025 is a ticketed event, offering daily general admission tickets for competition viewing*. All general admission (GA) tickets include access to daily special musical guest appearances, along with access to X Fest.

There will be no free competition viewing areas onsite at X Games Aspen; fans will need an X Games Aspen ticket to access the venue after the mountain closes.

Buttermilk Mountain lifts and services will remain open to guests skiing and snowboarding during normal mountain hours.

To experience X Games Aspen in style, purchase a premium hospitality pass to The Après Lounge. Or for those seeking the ultimate X Games Aspen experience, purchase access into The Chalet Lounge.

Located inside the Inn at Aspen, Après Lounge guests will receive two complimentary beer or wine drink tokens each day and enjoy a well-appointed lounge space with private restrooms. ADA drop-off is available at the base of Buttermilk. Designated wheelchair viewing areas have been established throughout the venue. Please visit the Guest Services tent located near the main entrance for information and assistance escorting an individual to any of the ADA viewing areas.

ADA drop off is available at the base of Buttermilk. Take Highway 82, turn onto Owl Creek Rd. and take the first left into the Buttermilk Parking Lot. Follow signs to the accessibility drop off/pick up location.

Competitions and special musical guest appearances may be temporarily suspended due to severe weather conditions. To receive public safety alerts during X Games Aspen 2025 sign up by texting PITKINALERT to 888777.

Tailgating and camping are not permitted at X Games or in the Brush Creek Intercept Lot.

Event Parking is located at the Brush Creek Park & Ride Lot at Hwy 82 and Brush Creek Rd. Free Shuttles are provided. There is no parking at Buttermilk. For X Games, Aspen and Roaring Fork Valley public transportation information, call RFTA at 970-925-8484, or go to

Rideshare and taxi services will be located off Owl Creek Road and E. Buttermilk Road near the main entrance to Buttermilk. If using Uber or Lyft, their respective apps will automatically direct you to the proper pick up and drop off point.

Security checkpoints are located at the entrance and exit to the venue. Event security personnel are also patrolling the venue and will assist with crowd and access control. All persons/bags are always subject to search, on or in the parking lots, shuttles, and Buttermilk properties. If you see something, say something!

Your safety is our priority! In the event of an emergency, X Games and Aspen Skiing Company team members have been trained and instructed to assist guests in evacuating the venue. In the event of an evacuation, X Games staff will assist guests with disabilities and direct them to safe locations and exit routes. Gates and/or specific competition venues will be closed when capacity is reached. All existing facility policies may be enforced in addition to X Games venue policies.

The Spectator Medical tent is located at the main entrance into X Fest. For any medical needs, please see a medical attendant or contact any security or staff personnel to assist you.

X Fest is a three-day interactive sponsor village, featuring sponsor activations, athlete autograph signings, concessions, and two Bar Gardens. Located at the base of Buttermilk, X Fest is open to ticketed guests, along with Buttermilk Mountain skiers and snowboarders during regular mountain hours. After mountain hours, X Fest will be open to ticketed guests only.

The X Games Aspen Guest Services tent is the designated meeting point for lost or separated people, and will serve as the event’s lost & found. X Games will not be held liable for any unclaimed items.

• X Games Aspen is a non-smoking event. Please refrain from smoking in all public areas. Drugs and marijuana use are also prohibited. The sale and consumption of alcohol is restricted to designated areas and times. Tailgating and camping are not permitted in the Brush Creek Intercept Lot. 

• Large posters and banners must be inspected by security before being allowed in the venue. X Games reserves the right to refuse admission of signage. Sticks or poles to hold flags/banners are not permitted. 

• X Games is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged goods. 

• X Games reserves the right to refuse admission to anyone at any time. 

• Commercial photography or videography is strictly prohibited. Failure to comply will result in ejection and/or loss of credential. Specifically, the following equipment is not permitted: lenses greater than three and one-half inches in length, telephoto or zoom lenses of any kind, interchangeable lenses of any kind, monopods or tripods or flash equipment of any kind. All wireless equipment must be cleared by X Games. 

• Gates and/or specific competition venues will be closed when capacity is reached. • All existing facility policies may be enforced in addition to X Games venue policies. 

• Service dogs are allowed on the property excluding lifts and all restaurants. Please be sure to have proper documentation and the appropriate service vest on your pet.

Paid parking is available in Downtown Aspen and Snowmass Village, with dedicated X Games event shuttles departing from Rubey Park (Aspen) and Snowmass Village Mall (Snowmass Village).

There is NO event parking on-site at Buttermilk Mountain for X Games. FREE event parking is located at the Brush Creek Intercept Lot at Highway 82 and Brush Creek Road, with complimentary shuttles provided to X Games. Paid parking is available in Downtown Aspen and Snowmass Village, with dedicated X Games event shuttles departing from Rubey Park (Aspen) and Snowmass Village Mall (Snowmass Village).

Pick up for all rideshare transportation (Lyft, Taxi etc.) is located at the Rideshare Lot near the entrance to Buttermilk Mountain at the intersection of Highway 82 and Owl Creek Road. Enter "38700 CO-82, Aspen, CO 81611" as the pick-up location in your rideshare app.

The entrance to X Games is located at the base of Buttermilk Ski Resort at the intersection of Highway 82 and Owl Creek Rd.

We highly recommend purchasing your tickets before arriving. We can not guarantee that there will be tickets available on event days.

Children 5 and under are free with a ticketed adult.

Your X Games Aspen tickets will be delivered to you via Front Gate’s digital delivery, a very convenient method for receiving your tickets. With digital delivery your tickets are emailed straight to your email address. This article demonstrates how to download your ticket(s) with optional printing. Please note, you can present your ticket on a mobile device to enter the venue.

Every year, some of our fans think that buying a ticket via Craigslist, StubHub, or any broker site will save them some cash and allow them to access X Games. Unfortunately, many of these are either already used or are counterfeits. Once a ticket has changed hands from its original owner, there is nothing we can do to remedy any issues. If you want 100% confidence, you should purchase your Tickets on Ticket Page. We can only guarantee ticket validity for purchases made through our official vendor, Frontgate Tickets.

If you purchased an X Games Après Lounge or Chalet Lounge pass, don't forget to pick up your credential at will call, located at the X Games Box Office just inside the X Games entrance. Please have your photo ID and electronic ticket confirmation with you for pick up. If you are not the original purchaser please be sure to bring a copy of the original purchases photo ID, written consent to pick up their pass, and the ticket confirmation.

You must present a government issued photo ID (passport, drivers license, military ID, State ID, etc) when picking up your premium pass, along with the order receipt or card used to purchase the pass.

X Games is a wheelchair accessible venue, but please be aware it is an outdoor event situated on a mountain with some distance between areas. Therefore, most travel is over natural snow packed terrain that can fluctuate weather dependent.

There are ADA accessible portalets and public restrooms located throughout the venue. Please visit the Guest Services tent located on the X Fest Plaza just outside Buttermilk Mountain Lodge for information and assistance.

Service dogs are allowed on the property excluding ski lifts and all restaurants. Please be sure to have proper documentation and the appropriate service vest on your pet.

ATM machines are located inside Buttermilk Mountain Lodge, on the lower level.

The X Games Guest Services tent is located just inside the main entrance to X Games on the X Fest plaza. Guest Services is the designated area for all event information and services. Event schedule, venue activities, lost and found, viewing maps and other event services are offered.

If you have any event-related questions or concerns while on-site, please locate a guest services representative or ask where the closest one can be found.

Please remember to stay hydrated. Empty water containers are permitted into the venue, with water refill stations located inside Buttermilk Mountain Lodge.

Buttermilk Mountain is located within standard cell phone service range.

Please support efforts to minimize landfill waste by disposing of trash, recyclables, and compost in the appropriate containers.
