X Games Chiba 2024 will feature approximately 85 athletes.

Athletes from 16 countries and 10 U.S. states are scheduled to compete.

33 medals will be awarded in 11 competitions over three sports.

Japan is in both the northern and eastern hemispheres and lies above the equatorial plane. It consists of five main islands and 6,847 remote islands.

Japan is comprised of eight regions and 47 prefectures (similar to a state in the United States). Chiba city is within the Chiba Prefecture, which is within the Kantō Region. Tokyo also is in the Kantō Region.

Chiba is the capital city of Chiba Prefecture. It sits on the northern tip of Tokyo Bay, 25 miles east of Tokyo’s city center.

The Makuhari Messe event center, which opened in 1989, is across the street from ZOZO Marine Stadium, which was the site of X Games in 2022 and 2023. The complex sits on Tokyo Bay, right next to Makuhari Beach.
