Taking a TRAIN To X Games

AMTRAK® Pacific Surfliner

You won’t have to worry about traffic or parking hassles if you take the Pacific Surfliner train to Ventura. The station is a 2-minute walk from the X Games entrance. Many Pacific Surfliner stations offer free parking, and the train ride is comfortable with onboard amenities such as a Market Café, free Wi-Fi, power outlets, and more.

METROLINK

Current service is provided to the City of Ventura with an added stop at the Fairgrounds. Metrolink tickets can be used on Pacific Surfliner trains. X Games Day passes are $10 and Kids 17 and under ride FREE on the weekend! Metrolink now offers connecting service to LAX.

Taking a BUS to X Games

GOLD COAST TRANSIT BUS

Gold Coast Bus will offer buses from the park-n-ride at the Pacific View Mall (3301 E Main St, Ventura, CA 93003) to the venue during X Games weekend. Purchase for $1.50/trip on the Token Transit App. Tickets can only be purchased on day of transit. Parking is FREE at the mall.

VCTC BIG BLUE BUSES

The Ventura County Transportation Commission (VCTC) operates six commuter bus routes throughout Ventura County, as well as to Santa Barbara and Warner Center. All VCTC buses are wheelchair accessible and have ample bike storage, free passenger Wi-Fi, and reclining seats. View bus schedules and purchase tickets.

Riders are also encouraged to use VCbuspass, a contactless regional transit pass that can be used on any bus operator in Ventura County. To get a pass, download the UMO App on an Apple or Android phone.

VW bus pass cards can also be purchased online or by calling VCTC’s Regional Transit Information Center in advance of the X Games at (800)438-1112.

Younger riders and college students are encouraged to take advantage of the Youth Ride Free and College Ride programs, which allow youths 18 and younger and students enrolled at participating colleges to ride any bus in Ventura County for free. Highway 101 ($1.75/ride) Serves Ventura, Oxnard, Camarillo, Newbury Park and Thousand Oaks
Highway 126 ($1.75/ride) Serves Fillmore, Santa Paula, Saticoy and Ventura
Coastal Express - ($4.00/ride) Serves Oxnard, Ventura, Carpinteria, Santa Barbara, Goleta and UC Santa Barbara

During the X Games, the Highway 101 and 126 routes will be extended to Thompson Boulevard and Figueroa Street in Ventura. The Coastal Express route will also stop at Thompson and Figueroa instead of Santa Clara and Oak streets.

STATE BEACH BUS

Parking is available at the State Beach Lot for $15. State Beach Bus will be provided free to/from the venue, or it takes approximately 30 minutes to walk to X Games from the State Beach lot. View State Beach Bus route.

DRIVING to X Games

To avoid congestion, do not use the California Street exit. Garden Street will be closed to the public with the exception of Uber, Lyft and buses.

FROM LOS ANGELES

The Ventura County Fairgrounds are located on the beach in the city of Ventura, about 1 hour north of Los Angeles

From the Ventura Freeway (Highway 101) northbound, take the Seaward Ave. Turn left towards the ocean to Harbor Blvd., turn right on Harbor and continue until you reach The Ventura County Fairgrounds at the corner of Harbor and Figueroa.

FROM SANTA BARBARA

The Ventura County Fair is located on the beach in the city of Ventura, about 1 hour north of Los Angeles and about 30 minutes south of Santa Barbara.

From the Ventura Freeway (Highway 101) southbound, take the Seaward Ave. exit, make an immediate right on Harbor Blvd. and proceed to Ventura County Fair at Seaside Park.

Ride Your BIKE to X Games

X Games offers free “first come, first serve” bike valet parking provided by Bike Ventura at the main entrance in Lot A. Find the perfect biking route map.

Taking a RIDESHARE to X Games

Pick up for all rideshare transportation (Uber, lyft, taxi etc.) is located at the rideshare pick-up spot between Gates 9 & 10 on E. Harbor Boulevard across from the Amtrak Train Depot. To get to E. Harbor Blvd, take Garden Street. There is no access to parking in this area. Rideshare location is Just North of the main entrance to Ventura County Fairgrounds. Enter “10 E. Harbor Blvd, Ventura, CA 93001” as the pick-up location in your rideshare app.

PARKING at X Games

PARKING AT THE VENUE

Paid parking is available at the Ventura County Fairgrounds.

Before July 20th, purchase daily VIP parking ($35) or GA parking ($25) through the Fever website or app. SATURDAY PARKING IS SOLD OUT.
On event days, daily GA parking ($30) is available on a first-come, first-served basis. SATURDAY PARKING IS SOLD OUT.

Venue parking is located in Lot A and can be accessed through Gate 1. Lot A *Parking is limited, re-entry is only permitted for VIP parking. VIP parking is not available to purchase on event days

Friday 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.

Saturday 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. SATURDAY PARKING IS SOLD OUT.

Sunday 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Parking by permit only. X Games is not responsible for damage or theft to vehicles or vehicle contents. Overnight parking is strictly prohibited. Unauthorized vehicles will be towed. .

SAN BUENAVENTURA STATE BEACH PARKING LOT

Parking is available at the San Buenaventura State Beach Parking Lot, located at 901 San Pedro Street in Ventura, for $15 per day. Jump on the Bus will provide FREE shuttle rides to and from the venue, or it takes approximately 30 minutes to walk to X Games from the State Beach lot. View the walking route.
