Denver Airport Shuttle to X Games
Roaring Fork Express is a shared shuttle transport between Aspen and the Denver International Airport. You can book your Aspen shuttle on CO West Transportation’s website here. The Roaring Fork Express Denver to Aspen shuttle takes about 4 hours and costs $130 per person in a shared shuttle. Private and shared rides are offered.
Taking a Train to X Games
Amtrak ➢ Glenwood Springs
Denver doesn’t have a direct train route to Aspen, but you can combine rail transportation with a shuttle or bus options to incorporate a train ride for the journey to Aspen. Your best bet is taking an Amtrak train from Denver to Glenwood Springs, which costs about $50 in coach for 5.5 hours. Purchase here. Then either catch a shuttle service or $7 RFTA bus (approx. 1 hour duration; you can catch the bus on 8th street).

Getting to X Games Aspen via Bustang West Line & Roaring Fork Transportation Authority (RFTA)
To help minimize traffic impact and promote safe transportation alternatives, CDOT makes it as convenient as possible for people to leave their cars behind and let Bustang do the winter driving.
Bustang services a North, South and West line, which all originate from Denver Union Station. The routes connect areas from Denver to Fort Collins, Colorado Springs, and Grand Junction. The buses provide a sustainable and comfortable alternative to freeway travel to the event as all buses are equipped with WiFi, power outlets and USB ports, a restroom, and a bay for luggage, skis and snowboards. Plus, with parking at X Games limited to the Brush Creek Lot outside of Snowmass Village, taking the bus is more convenient.
Westbound:
• Take RTD (light rail, bus) to Denver Union Station, and hop on the Bustang West Line
• Get off the bus at the Glenwood Springs stop (West Glenwood Park-n-Ride)
• From the West Glenwood Park-n-Ride, take the VelociRFTA route designated with a "BRT ASPEN" headsign to the Buttermilk UV stop
• From the Buttermilk UV stop you're just a short walk away from the action!
Eastbound:
• Hop on the Bustang West Line, starting from the Grand Junction Airport
• Get off the bus at the Glenwood Springs stop (West Glenwood Park-n-Ride)
• From the West Glenwood Park-n-Ride, take the VelociRFTA route designated with a "BRT ASPEN" headsign to the Buttermilk UV stop
• From the Buttermilk UV stop you're just a short walk away from the action!
Get more information on the Bustang West Line route, and download the Bustang app to purchase tickets. One-way fares from Denver are $28, with discount pricing for service from other stops on the way, and discounted fares for children, seniors (65+), and individuals with a disability.

Parking at X Games
There is NO EVENT PARKING on-site at Buttermilk Mountain for X Games. FREE Event Parking is located at the Brush Creek Intercept Lot at Highway 82 and Brush Creek Road, with complimentary shuttles provided to X Games. Paid parking is available in Downtown Aspen and Snowmass Village, with dedicated X Games event shuttles departing from Rubey Park (Aspen) and Snowmass Village Mall (Snowmass Village).
Ride Share for X Games
Pick up for all rideshare transportation (Lyft, Taxi etc.) is located at the RideShare Lot near the entrance to Buttermilk Mountain at the intersection of Highway 82 and Owl Creek Road.

Accessibility Drop Off Location
Accessibility drop-off is available at the base of Buttermilk. Take Highway 82, turn onto Owl Creek Rd. and take the first left into Buttermilk Parking Lot. Follow signs to the accessibility drop off/pick up location.
