X Games

Three days of the best action sports competitions in the world featuring snowboarding, skiing, and festival experience. X Games Aspen kicks off on Friday, January 27th and goes through Sunday, January 29th at Buttermilk Mountain in the heart of Aspen, Colorado.

. Competitions are free and open to the public. All events are held outside in a winter environment, proper attire is recommended.

 page. All performances are held in the X Fest Snow area at the base of Buttermilk and are free to the public. VIP experiences are available on out Ticket Info page.

X Games Aspen 2023 will be broadcast live on television on ABC and ESPN and streamed on YouTube and Twitch. 

ADA drop-off is available at the base of Buttermilk. Designated wheelchair viewing areas have been established throughout the venue. Please visit the Guest Services tent located in X Fest for information and assistance escorting an individual to any of the ADA viewing areas. Action Trackchairs® are also available to reserve during event days from their tent located near the main entrance.

Event Parking is located at the Brush Creek Intercept Lot at Hwy 82 and Brush Creek Rd. Free Shuttles are provided. There is no parking at Buttermilk. For X Games, Aspen and Roaring Fork Valley public transportation information, call RFTA at 970-925-8484, or go to rfta.com. Ride Share and Taxi services will be located off Owl Creek Road and E. Buttermilk Road near the main entrance to Buttermilk. If using Uber or Lyft, their respective apps will automatically direct you to the proper pick up and drop off point.

Competitions and concerts may be temporarily suspended in severe weather conditions. Please sign up for push notifications on the official event app for the most up to date information and schedule changes. To receive public safety alerts during X Games Aspen 2023 sign up by texting PITKINALERT to 888777.

Tailgating and camping are not permitted at X Games or in the Brush Creek Intercept Lot.

Official X Games Merchandise is available on-site during event days in X Fest.

X Games Aspen kicks off on Friday, January 27th and goes through Sunday, January 29th at Buttermilk in Aspen, Colorado.

Security checkpoints are located at the entrance and exit to the venue. Event security personnel are also patrolling the venue and will assist with crowd and access control. All persons/bags are always subject to search, on or in the parking lots, shuttles, and Buttermilk properties.

Your safety is our priority! In the event of an emergency, X Games and Aspen Skiing Company team members have been trained and instructed to assist guests in evacuating the venue. In the event of an evacuation, X Games staff will assist guests with disabilities and direct them to safe locations and exit routes. Gates and/or specific competition venues will be closed when capacity is reached. All existing facility policies may be enforced in addition to X Games venue policies.

The Spectator Medical tent is located at the main entrance into X Fest. For any medical needs, please see a medical attendant or contact any security or staff personnel to assist you.

X Games Aspen will showcase X Fest, the FREE three-day experience features sponsor activations, interactive Chill Zone, music, athlete autograph signings, and activities for all ages. Located throughout the base of Buttermilk Mountain, X Fest will provide fun for all ages.

X Fest will also feature a Pacifico Beer Garden on The Lodge patio and on the Home Team BBQ patio on the back side of The Inn at Aspen. Visit various Concession vendors in X Fest including Home Team BBQ and Aspen Mini Donuts. ATM machines are located inside The Lodge, lower level.

Guest Services is the designated meeting point for lost or separated people, Lost & Found, as well as the location for guests reporting any lost items. For Lost & Found item recovery following the event, please e- mail the Aspen Skiing Company at contactus@aspensnowmass.com or call 800-525-6200. X Games will not be held liable for any unclaimed items.

X Games Aspen is a non-smoking event. Please refrain from smoking in all public areas. Drugs and marijuana use are also prohibited. The sale and consumption of alcohol is restricted to designated areas and times.

X Games is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged goods.

X Games reserves the right to refuse admission to anyone at any time.

Commercial photography or videography is strictly prohibited. Failure to comply will result in ejection and/or loss of credential/ticket. Specifically, the following equipment is not permitted: drones, lenses greater than three and one-half inches in length, telephoto or zoom lenses of any kind, interchangeable lenses of any kind, monopods or tripods or flash equipment of any kind. All wireless equipment must be cleared by the X Games organizers.

There is NO event parking on-site at Buttermilk Mountain for X Games. FREE Event Parking is located at the Brush Creek Intercept Lot at Highway 82 and Brush Creek Road, with complimentary shuttles provided to X Games. Paid parking is available in Downtown Aspen and Snowmass Village, with dedicated X Games event shuttles departing from Rubey Park (Aspen) and Snowmass Village Mall (Snowmass Village).

Pick up for all rideshare transportation (Lyft, Taxi etc.) is located at the RideShare Lot near the entrance to Buttermilk Mountain at the intersection of Highway 82 and Owl Creek Road. Enter "38700 CO-82, Aspen, CO 81611" as the pick-up location in your rideshare app.

We highly recommend purchasing your tickets before arriving. We can not guarantee that there will be tickets available on event days.

For ticketed areas, children under two are Free.

When purchasing the ticket, enter the name of the ticket recipient in order to guarentee a seamless experience on the day of the festival.

If you did not put their name of the recipient on the ticket, please be sure provide the person you bought the ticket for a note from the original purchaser stating you have permission to use their ticket, a copy of their government issued photo ID, and a copy of the original confirmation email.

Unfortunately, many of these are either already used or are counterfeits. Once a ticket has changed hands from its original owner, there is nothing we can do to remedy any issues. If you want 100% confidence, you should purchase your Tickets on Ticket Page. We can only guarantee ticket validity for purchases made through our official vendor, Frontgate Tickets.

You will receive information about picking up your SuperFan or XIP tickets closer to the event. Please check back for more info.

You must present a government issued photo ID (passport, drivers license, military ID, State ID, etc) when picking up your pass.

If you purchased a Superfan, XIP Day or XIP Night Pass don't forget to pick up your pass at will call, located at the X Games Box Office just inside the X Games Aspen entrance. Please have your photo ID and ticket confirmation with you for pick up. If you are not the original purchaser please be sure to bring a copy of the original purchases photo ID, written consent to pick up their pass, and the ticket confirmation.

If you purchased a XIP Lux Pass it will be available to pick up at The Little Nell hotel, located at 675 E Durant Ave in downtown Aspen. Please be sure to have your photo ID and ticket confirmation with you for pick up. If you are not the original purchaser, please be sure to bring a copy of the original purchaser photo ID, written consent to pick up their pass, and the ticket confirmation.



ADA drop off is available at the base of Buttermilk. Take Highway 82, turn onto Owl Creek Rd. and take the first left into Buttermilk Parking Lot. Follow signs to the ADA drop off/pick up location.

X Games is a wheelchair accessible venue, but please be aware it is an outdoor event situated on a mountain with some distance between areas. Therefore, most travel is over natural snow packed terrain that can fluctuate weather dependent.

There are ADA accessible portalets and public restroom located throughout the venue. Please visit the Guest Services tent located on the X Fest Plaza just outside The Lodge for information and assistance.

Designated wheelchair viewing areas have been established on the south/hill side of The Lodge below Big Air. Please visit the Guest Services tent located on the X Fest Plaza just outside The Lodge for information and assistance. Guest Services staff will be available to escort an individual to any of the wheelchair viewing areas. Please note that these areas have limited capacity and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Service dogs are allowed on the property excluding ski lifts and all restaurants. Please be sure to have proper documentation and the appropriate service vest on your pet.

Action Trackchairs® are available to reserve from the X Games Action Trackchair tent located in X Fest. Guest Services staff will be available to escort an individual to any of the wheelchair viewing areas. Please note that they are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

ATM machines are located inside The Lodge, lower level.

Guest Services is located just inside the main entrance to X Games on the X Fest plaza. Guest Services is the designated area for all event information and services. Event schedule, venue activities, Lost and Found, Action Trackchairs®, viewing maps and other event services are offered.

If you have any event-related questions or concerns while on-site, please locate a guest services representative or ask where the closest one can be found.

A complimentary water station is located in X Fest.

Buttermilk Mountain is located within standard cell phone service range. Mobile charging stations and/or electrical outlets will be available on a first come first serve basis at the Guest Services tent located on the X Fest Plaza just inside the main entrance. Phones left will be at the risk of the owner.
